As the year drew to a close, the virtual fitness app market in Australia saw varied performance across top applications. Data provided by Sensor Tower gives us insights into how these apps fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Strava: Run, Bike, Hike experienced a fluctuating quarter, with downloads peaking at 11K in the final week of December. The app's revenue also showed an upward trend towards the end of the quarter, reaching $95K in the last week. Weekly active users had a dip in October but saw a rise to 295K in the last week.

Fitbit: Health & Fitness saw its revenue grow significantly in the last week of December, hitting $78K. Downloads also surged to 22K during the same period. The app's weekly active users showed an increase, reaching 186K by the quarter's end.

Kic: Health, Fitness & Recipes maintained a steady revenue with a slight increase to $36K in the last week of December. Downloads saw a dip but recovered to 725 in the final week. Active users remained stable, with a slight increase to nearly 4K.

AllTrails: Hike, Bike & Run had a varied quarter with revenue reaching $30K at the end of December. Downloads saw a significant jump to 13K in the final week of the year. Weekly active users experienced a peak of 60K in early October, followed by a dip and a rise to 52K by the end of December.

JustFit: Lazy Workout & Fit recorded a revenue of $23K in the last week of December, and its downloads also saw an increase to 8K in the same period. Weekly active users saw a decrease during the quarter but ended with a rise to 16K.
